MENTAL CONCEPTS AND SOCIOTECHNICAL SYSTEMS
The issue of ACCOUNTABILITY is an important reason why mental concepts cannot be used to specify a sociotechnical system because they make determining compliance impossible and as we know if “accountability
is meaningless if we cannot check compliance” (Chopra and Singh, 2012).
